I've never been good at "About Me" sections. I'm a much more personal person than that. I'd much rather grab coffee at a cafe and chat about life and the greatness of it. But since this is all we have, I will do my best.

I love adventure and travel. I love photography and writing. I love meeting new people and learning their stories. I love experiencing life and living it to the fullest.

I have a husband, an apartment and a job as a reporter/writer. My biggest aspiration is to become a travel writer/photographer. I grew up in a house with a family of travelers. My father is a pilot and my mother once worked at the airport. That's how they met. Together they've traveled all over the U.S. and some. I guess you could say I hope to one day have a career following their footsteps. To travel the world and document it and to share with others to inspire them to do the same is a dream of mine. A dream I still keep for the day that it becomes true.

As a writer, for now, I write local news stories. But a blog has been something my family has pressed me to do for quite some time. I hadn't because I never knew what theme to make it or how to talk via a computer. But this is my last shot at it. I want to make this work as a way of documenting what I hope inspires others to put the phone down and tap into their creative and sense of adventure.
